I have worked as an RN from 2016 – current primarily in inpatient mental health hospitals as well as some time working as a director of nursing of a long-term care facility during that timeframe. In 2024 I graduated from Maryville University (2021-2024) with my Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I became board certified in July of 2024.
Currently, I am providing services as a PMHNP in the outpatient setting where I examine, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental illnesses through medication management including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, etc. Treatment ages range from 12 years old through the lifespan. I discovered my passion for mental health when I was completing my undergrad program, and I strive to use the knowledge I have attained through my academic history and work experience to improve the quality of life of all patients. I am dedicated to providing honest, respectful, empathetic, and non-biased care to all of my patients who entrust me with their care. My goal is to utilize a team approach with each patient to develop a plan that is both safe and effective while achieving positive outcomes.
